**Fibre Technician Assistant/Helpers**, throughout New Zealand
**( North and South Island)**you will be responsible for helping the Fibre Technician to do the following tasks:

- Assist in Fibre installations including digging and reinstating

Repair, adjust and replace cables, wires, routers, modems, telephones, software peripherals and other hardware

Assist in Fibre and cable laying from boundary to premises.

*Helping the Fibre Technician in diagnostics of faults in cabling and/or in equipment. *Thrusting and underground cabling for residential customers, consenting & open trench work.
- Pole Climbing and Surveying.

Requirements for the Role:

- Must be physically fit as manual labour work is required
- Ready to work in all weather conditions
- Flexible with working hours, ability to do occasional weekend work or attend to emergency response.
- Basic knowledge in Fibre cable installation would be an advantage.
- Great team player and good attention to detail
- Have an awareness and commitment to following health and safety work practices.

Trainings:

- Must have a valid First aid training or willing to get one.
Must Have TMO ,WTC1,WTC3 Trainings or willing to attend these.

Pay rate between $29.66 to $30 per hour depending on skills.
We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
