We are now looking for 1-4 Garage Door Installers to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access to a reputable and experienced company. **Tasks & responsibilities**: - Inspecting the condition of all types of garage doors before installation - Cleaning and setting up work sites for garage removal and installation - Locking garage doors in a secure position, releasing tension of existing springs, detaching cables and lifting and removing old garage doors and old track rollers in a safely manner - Assembling mechanical components or machine parts - Locking safety brackets onto garage doors, installing hinges, attaching struts to walls, installing garage doors and track rollers - Connecting track rollers and garage doors, testing to ensure smooth opening and closing - Repairing or replacing worn or broken door parts and other common problems with garage door systems using hand tools - Maintaining inventory of new parts to ensure prompt repair of doors - Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations **What do you need?** - Prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage - Good eye for detail and an ability to learn fast - A "can-do" attitude - Reasonable level of fitness and willingness to work hard Our goal is to inspire people more than manage them.
