We are seeking an enthusiastic 3 Store-person for our Dollar shop at Masterton.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them in finding products.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Provide product information and make recommendations to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed.
- Ensure that pricing and product labels are accurate and clearly visible.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments.
- Perform regular store cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Work collaboratively with store management and team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
- Assist in training new team members on store operations, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
- Support team members during peak periods, including cash handling and maintaining checkout queues.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for customers and team members.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or inventory discrepancies to the store manager.

**Requirements**:

- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak shopping periods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Physical ability to lift and carry merchandise, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
