This is a pivotal position that will play a leading role to broaden our existing skillset and increase the capability of this successful multi-disciplinary team of industry-leading hydrogeologists, geologists and engineers, to provide support to projects across T+T NZ and the wider group in Australia and the Pacific.

Projects you will work on will involve a wide range of hydrogeological tasks, particularly groundwater modelling related to the development and management of groundwater resources, source protection zone mapping and catchment risk assessment work relating to drinking water reforms, large-scale dewatering assessments, and opportunities to work with industry clients including the assessment of new and existing landfills.

**Nā tōu rourou | What you'll bring**
- 10+ year's professional hydrogeology experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Chartered or certified professional or close to obtaining.
- Master's degree or higher in hydrogeology or environmental science (majoring in Hydrogeology) or engineering (specialising in groundwater/hydrology).
- Highly motivated self-starter and passionate about hydrogeology with a broad range of hydrogeological expertise including numerical groundwater modelling, excavation dewatering, municipal, irrigation and industrial groundwater supply, managed aquifer recharge, source water risk and management in line with the drinking water reforms and peer review.
- An industry expert with experience in preparing and presenting expert witness evidence at local authority hearings and the Environment Court.
- Experienced project manager capable of managing major or multiple projects or contracts and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical ideas in plain written and spoken English.
- Strong marketing and excellent communication skills and capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- An innovative, collaborative person who works well in a team and has an enquiring mind to identify and deliver innovative solutions and provide value to clients.

This position will require you to work collaboratively with the team and other disciplines to meet our client's needs whilst also raising the technical standard of hydrogeological work in the company. You will be part of a growing hydrogeology team ensuring the company has leading edge expertise whilst contributing toward the continued growth of the team.
