**The opportunity**

Our Auckland Geotechnical team of 60 positively impacts the day-to-day life of people in the region and across New Zealand. We’re looking for an experienced Hydrogeologist ready for their next career move. Beca’s hydrogeology team is one of the most highly regarded in New Zealand, as evidenced by our client and project portfolio.

You will be joining a passionate team in a varied role that includes managing and delivering projects with support from our technical specialists, liaising with clients, and guiding and growing more junior members of the team. From groundwater developments for water supply to evaluating, modelling, and monitoring the effects of construction on groundwater flow, we have a wide range of exciting and different projects that will keep you engaged and allow you to grow your technical expertise.

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$60,000.00 -70,000.00, depending on skills and experience. The role is full-time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.

**About you**

You love to learn and share knowledge and are someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are a Hydrogeologist with a relevant master’s level qualification. You are competent with simple to complex 2D and 3D computer modelling of seepage and groundwater flow. You have experience with groundwater resource development, including water quality analysis, aquifer sustainability and allocation, well siting, testing, design and maintenance.
