Are you passionate about delivering exceptional IT services and ensuring seamless infrastructure operations? Join our team at KiwiRail as a Service Delivery Engineer and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our IT systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity, resolved within SLA timeframes
- Analyze, install, modify, and support operating systems, databases, and utility software for smooth IT operations
- Lead the analysis of business problems and develop automated solutions
- Manage projects related to LAN/WAN systems and telecommunications
- As experience grows, contribute to system architecture design, testing, and evaluation across the IT solutions

**What you’ll need**:

- Managed Services experience with a strong understanding of ticketing tools, preferably Jira Service Manager
- 1+ years of experience in a service desk role, handling a range of IT support tasks
- Proven ability to support Windows 10/11 in a desktop enterprise environment
- Experience using deployment tools such as Intune and managing Group Policy
- Proficiency with Office 365 and Exchange Online
- Knowledge of endpoint protection tools, like SEP and Defender
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- PowerShell scripting knowledge (desirable)
- Some field service experience (desirable)
