**Make a lasting impact for Pacific Survivors and communities**

The Survivor Experiences Service (SES) provides a safe, culturally grounded and trauma informed pathway for Survivors of abuse in state and faith based care to share their experiences, heal, and reconnect with their personal records. As we enter the next phase of this mahi, we are deepening our relationships with Pacific communities across Aotearoa to ensure Pacific survivors and their whānau know about the service and can access it with confidence and support.

We are seeking an experienced, relationship focused leader to join us on a fixed term basis until 30 June 2026. This role is about creating strategic pathways, not advocacy, by working alongside churches, community organisations and Pacific service providers to build awareness, confidence and uptake of SES services.

**About the role**

As the Pacific Peoples Relationships Lead, you will:

- Build meaningful, enduring relationships with Pacific organisations, leaders, churches, service providers and community groups
- Increase awareness of SES to ensure greater participation from Pacific Survivors and their whānau
- Support Pacific organisations to actively connect survivors to the Service through trusted pathways
- Capture and share insights from Pacific communities to inform service design and continuous improvement
- Collaborate across SES to ensure Pacific perspectives, values and voices shape our approach to service delivery
- Travel regularly to connect with communities kanohi ki te kanohi across Aotearoa
- Work flexibly and remotely, supported by technology and a values based team environment

**What we are looking for**

You will bring:

- Deep understanding of Pacific cultures, communities and protocols
- Proven experience forming trusted partnerships with Pacific organisations or community networks
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to connect groups to a shared purpose
- Experience working within or alongside government or community led initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build confidence and inspire trust
- A collaborative approach and ability to work across diverse teams
