We are seeking a suitably experienced and motivated **Plant Engineer** to join the Pulp Dryer Team at our Tasman Mill, Kawerau.

**About the Role**

As a Plant Engineer, you will be the vital connection between manufacturing, operations, and maintenance—driving efficiency, ensuring reliability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement that aligns with business objectives. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will collaborate across teams, tackle technical challenges, and enhance production systems to support long-term success.

**Key Responsibilities**

What any given day could involve:

- Ensure EHS&R standards are met with industry-leading best practices.
- Develop and maintain production systems such as KOPs and SOPs.
- Lead production planning, shutdown coordination, and cost management.
- Drive process improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- Strengthen team capability through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset using competitive manufacturing principles.
