The Customer Service Officer plays a pivotal role in fostering positive customer interactions and maintaining strong relationships with 3PL’s, cold stores, and transport companies. Key responsibilities include leading customer satisfaction through exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, while also ensuring accurate order processing and timely resolution of issues. This role prefers experience in customer service, logistics, and supply chain management, along with proficiency in relevant software systems such as SAP and Portalink.

About the role
- Strong attention to detail in order processing, ensuring accuracy and documenting discrepancies such as out-of-stock items or damages
- Proactive problem-solving abilities to investigate claims, resolve issues, and handle returns efficiently
- Adaptability to support team members confidently, multitask effectively, and undertake various assigned tasks
- Collaborative mindset to work closely with different teams, ensuring smooth operations
- Organisational skills to maintain records, update SOPs, and manage customer information efficiently
- Initiative to enhance customer correspondence and anticipate needs, improving the overall experience
- Reliability and being driven to completing tasks promptly and providing support as needed

About you
- Preferred knowledge of the Distribution and Supply Chain Environment
- Customer Service experience
- Effective time management skills
- Analytical thinker
- Accurate data entry skills
- High computer literacy with strong skills in particular Microsoft Excel
