**Mo te tunga |About the role**

Ara Poutama Aotearoa is delivering a modern health system to support and enable our Pae Ora (Health) teams deliver a first-class health service. The new solution will be implemented in conjunction with our vendor partners.

The programme is in the build and implement phase and business service design is critical to the success of this transformation, so we are seeking a Service Designer to support the Project Manager and programme team.

As the Service Designer you will ensure the successful introduction of Profile, the replacement for MedTech 32, by leading and facilitating the service design activities for both the business and Digital.

Working closely with the project team and key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the design and support processes are documented and agreed, enabling a new way of working.

Your responsibilities will include delivering user centred designs balancing requirements for Pae Ora and Digital. You'll use your analysis skills to ensure the system configurations are user focussed resulting in a successful implementation. You will also ensure the IT service management design is documented and embedded ready for early life support and on-going operational support.

To be successful in this position you will be a values and growth driven individual with:

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with the project team, key stakeholders, and Digital to ensure that service designs are feasible and comply with current standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to translate technical and design content for non-technical stakeholders.

**Utu a-tau | Salary**

The mid-point of the salary range is $91,234 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $77,549 - $109,481 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
