This opportunity is within the Corrections Digital team, a part of the Infrastructure and Assets Group. The Digital team provides a full range of digital services to support and enable the delivery of Corrections' core business functions in custodial and community environments.
We have an exciting and transformational plan ahead designed to modernise our digital infrastructure and technology platforms, delivering life changing digital technology for our staff and people we manage.
Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Digital team are currently looking for a Lead Service Designer to join the team here at Ara Poutama.
We believe that service design is essential to ensuring that Digital delivers a great product experience for our customers. As a result, service design is an integral part of any product development ensuring that the transition from development to support delivers to expectations.
As a Lead Service Designer, you will draw on your service design expertise to manage and develop the service design strategy, framework, and processes, including its continual improvement. You will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Services team but will work with teams across Digital as well as our suppliers to provide service design practice coaching and advice.

We are looking for someone with experience working with multiple teams, building, and managing key relationships across Digital, our suppliers including our business partners:

- Expertise and practical experience in Service Design, including the service management lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of IT development and operational environments.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to lead or contribute to workshops and a desire to contribute to the broader success of the team by playing a mentoring and coaching role to other team members.
