**The Role**:
**Requirements of the role**:

- Documentation,test-driven development and automaton for ensuring software quality, performance, accessibility, maintainability and reusability
- Develop and maintain complex functional components to ensure efficiency and security, as well as mentor junior developers to promote best practices and positive team outcomes
- Liaise with other teams to facilitate the implementation of new systems and features, identify and resolve faults, and promote the sharing of knowledge, both technical and functional

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Demonstrated senior expertise in software architecture, design and implementation, delivering robust and maintainable code to solve business problems.
- Experience with a range of programming languages, technologies and environments, both frontend and back-end, including mobile app platforms (.Net, C#, REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
- First-hand working knowledge of contemporary software development tools and processes: version control, unit testing, automated testing, issue tracking.
- Full proficiency in data modelling, DB design and SQL scripting, including performance analysis and tuning, schema design, stored procedures and functions, data migration.
- Direct experience developing for, and deploying to, cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience across Azure, CI/CD processes, agile methodologies, Azure DevOps and API development would also be very desirable.
