Teletrac Navman is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider leveraging location-based technology that empowers people managing mobile assets to move their business forward with certainty.

We are searching for an enthusiastic, experienced, and innovative Firmware Engineering Manager to join our team who will lead the firmware development team in the delivery of reliable and robust embedded software-based products in support of Teletrac Navman platforms, the voice of the customer, platform architectures, business support tools or other projects.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

Your responsibilities as Firmware Engineering Manager will include:

- Lead multiple teams of technical professionals throughout the entire project life cycle to meet project objectives and deliverables.
- Ensure the team is resourced adequately to meet agreed deliverables.
- Act as the key escalation point for roadblocks or complex issues preventing the team from meeting key objectives, and deliverables.
- Establish short-term and mid-term plans and optimize resources to ensure that team objectives are consistently met.
- Effectively use HR approaches and tools to select, develop, motivate, reward, and retain your team.
- Reward and recognize employees who contribute to the achievement of Teletrac Navman's business goals both formally and informally.
- Provide effective coaching for the team to ensure they are continually growing and being conscious of other ways to achieve an outcome.

To be successful in this role,** you must have**:

- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of location services, GIS, geospatial, or IOT industries
- Demonstrated ability to drive quality results with speed and push boundaries
- Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate other people so that they maximize their efforts toward achieving the company’s business purposes.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams or providing coaching/mentoring.
- Previous experience working in an agile environment.
- Strong attention to detail and has demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems skills and the ability to come up with and communicate quick and creative solutions.
- Ability to understand/learn new languages, technologies, and tools.
- Interested in using automation and innovation to help a business run smoothly and grow.
- Professional attitude with high standards in development and documentation.
