**The Role**

We hire for skill, intelligence (EQ+IQ), resilience, and HEART, and would love you to help us service our high-involvement pet clientele. We are seeking a motivated and patient-care-focused Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced veterinarians across all areas of small animal veterinary practice, including hospital care, surgery and consultations. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of patient care, veterinary excellence, and customer service.
- 3-5 years of veterinary nursing experience in companion animal clinics.
- A nurse with a strong drive for gold standard care, and the confidence to advocate for patients, clients and team.
- Good anaesthesia monitoring knowledge including monitoring devices, how they work, limitations and problem solving when patient or machine abnormalities arise.
- Team player with self awareness in how you communicate with others, how to deal with conflict in a respectful manner with a focus on creating and maintaining a great culture.
- Willingness to embrace the importance of self care, break the habits that the profession has created - to enjoy a long career of patient and client care.
- Passion and dedication for learning.
- Must hold a nursing qualification eligible to join and maintain your AVPRC Registration.
- Ideally have practice software experience with Ezyvet and Smartflow.
