We are looking for an experienced Data and Information Governance Adviser to help guide the implementation of RBNZ's Data and Information Management Strategy. Te tūranga - The role This is an opportunity to join a growing team that is building the foundations of RBNZ's data and information governance capability. In this role you will join at the early stages of this journey and be able to influence the function and grow with the role. The Data and Information Governance Adviser role will be play a key role by supporting in reporting, managing key registers, analysis, and the day to day operations of the team. In this role you would be advising and working on the implementation of new tools and supporting the data governance required to do so. There will be a mixture of supporting projects and initiatives as well as supporting the day to day operations. Ō pūkenga - About you To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- 2-3 years experience in the data and information governance space
- A collaborative approach and the ability to take initiative
- A strong understanding of data and information governance best practice
- Experience with Microsoft365 is beneficial
- Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal consulting skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders from a wide range of technical skills and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating and maintaining meaningful reporting
