**Service**: Property & Facilities Capital & Coast.

**Contract**: 40 hours per week. 7.30 to 4.30. On call component.

**Salary**: Up to $61,703

The Electrical Appliance Technician / Electrician's role is responsible for the certification, repair, planned and reactive maintenance of commercial electrical appliances including 3 phase appliances within the hospital environment.
The role will support electrical duties as required and provide feedback on asset condition of appliances. This means you will need to have an understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace. The role has an on call component.

You will be part of a small team that is responsible for the upkeep, compliance and maintenance (both planned and reactive) of all of Health New Zealand's, Capital and Coasts maintenance requests. Our workplace is one of diversity, with plenty variety. As part of the electrical team you will be responsible for a variety of electrical appliance related issues including compliance, reactive and planned electrical requests.
Moū ' About you
- Very good and proven experience in appliance maintenance and or electrical duties.
- Qualified and registered in New Zealand as an Electrical Service Technician or as an Electrician and holds a current EST or Electrical licence.
- Relates well to management and staff at all levels.
- Excellent at customer service.
- Fit and able to undertake the required duties.
- Champion and proactive in Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Can do attitude and be a team player.
