**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare meat for sale by removing bones, trimming fat, and cutting, mincing, and grinding meat to the required shape and size for display or customer orders.
- Prepare specialty cuts by marinating, seasoning, curing, and crumbing meat.
- Select and process meat for the production of smallgoods.
- Operate meat processing equipment, including grinders, mixers, mincers, and tenderizers.
- Prepare seasonings and pickles by mixing spices, salt, and other ingredients.
- Operate machinery such as sausage fillers, smoking chambers, cooking kettles, and vats.
- Advise customers on the best cuts of meat and their preparation methods.
- Assist in menu planning, scheduling, and estimating food production costs as needed.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards are met at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience
- Able to work in a cold environment and stand for a long period.
- Ability to operate meat processing machinery and equipment.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina for lifting, cutting, and prolonged standing.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
