**The Company**
This is an opportunity to work with a global animal health company, with 60 years of experience and which is dedicated to helping vets, farmers and pet owners have healthier animals. Through their continuing R&D efforts they have developed a diverse portfolio of quality vaccines and medicines including sheep drenches, and ground-breaking medications while raising awareness of pet welfare and good animal husbandry.
From their production facility in Trentham, Wellington, a dedicated team undertakes aseptic manufacturing adhering to the highest standards of production quality.

**The Role**
As recruitment consultants, we are seeking a Production Team Leader for our client. The key responsibilities will be to oversee and assist with the day-to-day production, while utilising continuous improvement principles to improve processes and systems. Working alongside the facilities/engineering manager and site operations manager in Trentham; you will have six to eight direct reports. You will be managing projects, planning and purchasing materials; and developing team members with training and support.

Ideally you will have:

- Significant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Competency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- People leadership skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to meet quality and regulatory standards
- Some knowledge of Medsafe requirements would be an advantage
