Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We currently have an exciting, opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about banking and customer service delivery. The role will be looking after our Thames, Morrinsville & Whitianga branches. We sat down with our Head of Branch, who let us know the following about the role: What does a day in the life of a Senior Partner Personal Banking look like?- Proactively build connections and relationships in the local community driving new business for both consumer and small business customers.- Ensuring every customer is provided with an exceptional customer experience.- Lead collaboration between the Branch/Partner/Private network to ensure a coordinated approach to market opportunities in the region and wider Retail Network.- Working in consultation with the Head of Region, to develop and implement annual business plans which facilitate the achievement of the team, financial and business targets. What is the team culture and environment like? You will be leading a team of Bankers in our Thames, Morrinsville & Whitianga branches. This is a diverse role with a team of both fresh new faces and BNZ veterans. It is a fast-paced environment, so if you enjoy prioritising, being focused and working as part of a high performing team then this is the opportunity for you. What attributes will this person have in order to be successful? We are looking for a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills, who is able to challenge the status quo to improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of the team. A key requirement is to have a deep knowledge of financial products and services, along with strong technical capability and understanding of Banking systems. Ideally you will have experience leading a team in a customer facing role, and a proven track record of communicating and delivering great customer outcomes, to role model behaviours with Bankers.
