We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Portfolio Performance Manager to join our team and be responsible for developing and delivering insights related to pricing and portfolio performance for the home lending product set. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with our Head of Portfolio Performance & Pricing and she let us know the following about the role: What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? - Structure and perform robust strategic analysis and portfolio and financial modelling to identify high opportunity areas across the portfolio - Develop clear and compelling structured business presentations or reports to communicate insights and opportunities - Structure and perform numerical analysis of the portfolio across a range of dimensions, using data down to the customer, banker and account level. - Identify and combine disparate data sources such as internal data, RBNZ statistics and competitor financial reports to generate competitive insights. This role has visibility across multiple domains; Customer Products & Services, Digital Data & Analytics, Finance, whereby success in this role looks like this person being an expert/go to person for home loan portfolio insights by our key stakeholders within each of these domains. What skills are required for this role? We are looking for someone with proven experience in financial and/or strategic analysis, structuring investigations and communicating clear insights. Alongside this, you will also bring experience in: - Solving commercial challenges through data and insights. - Strategy/Pricing/Commercial or Finance roles (ideally 4+ years) - NZ financial services industry relating to banking products - SAS/SQL/Tableau/PowerBI is highly desirable What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? You'll be Curious, self-driven and uses their initiative. You will be a team player who will bring excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement. With outstanding communication and stakeholder management experience, you will have the ability to build strong relationships.
