We also have a strong focus on professional growth and development and progression, as well as a range of great benefits, including six weeks annual leave.

**Mō te Tūranga **| About the Role**

We have a rare and exciting, career stepping-stone opportunity within our Culture, Leadership & Capability team, to be part of a mission to develop our leaders and talent at BNZ.

We spoke with our Leadership & Talent Lead who let us know the following about the role:
**What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?**

You will be part of a mission to grow the best leaders and best talent to help BNZ achieve our bold ambition to be New Zealand's best bank.

This role is pivotal to the delivery of our Colleague Strategy, by supporting the scoping, development and delivery of strategic Leadership & Talent Programmes and initiatives. Leading the BNZ Enterprise Graduate Programme, project managing our signature Distinctive Leadership Programme, and implementing a streamlined induction experience for our new people leaders, are some of the many initiatives you will be working on.

**What is the team culture and environment like?**

You will be joining a high performing, inclusive, and collegiate team, always striving for excellence. We help each other grow and develop by sharing knowledge and challenging each other's thinking.

It is a fast-paced environment, so if you enjoy being busy and working autonomously then you will thrive in this team
- Effectively work with stakeholders across various levels to implement Leadership and Talent development initiatives to support strategic business needs and deliver tangible benefits to our colleagues and customers.
- Effective project and programme management of our Distinctive Leadership Programme, as well as other Leadership and Talent programmes to ensure robust planning, smooth running and timely reporting of programme outcomes.
- Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, to scope, within budget, with a strong focus on end user experience.

**What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?**

We are looking for a curious and pragmatic problem solver, with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with a broad range of audience/stakeholders. As team, we pride ourselves on delivering real impact to our colleagues and customers, so a strong customer orientation and a focus on end user experience is a must. To be successful in a fast-paced corporate environment when challenges are often complex, with no pre-set solutions, we are looking for someone with a strong growth mindset, is willing to give things a go, use initiative and 'run with the ball' when required.
