**About this role**:
A rare and exciting new opportunity for a role in our newly established Strategy Team has come about and we are excited to offer you the chance to be part of not only this great team working across our district, but also a great organisation. This critical role will be responsible for leading the sourcing, analysis and reporting of relevant metric data to support Council policy and investment decisions.

**What I do?**
- You will add value to the organization by utilizing data and analysis to identify opportunities for development growth sectors, economic development opportunities and strategies.
- You will work across the business to ensure that Council is and ELT is provided data and information that enables evidence based decision-making that maximizes strategic investment.
- You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to actively promote and grow the use of analytics across council business.

**What I bring?**
- Minimum of 5 years in a relevant experience including data modelling, data analysis and trend analysis
- You are an exceptional communicator with proven ability to build relationship, work across units and interdisciplinary teams.
