Retail Assistant in St Albans

We are looking for a permanent part time retail assistant at our rugs/carpets store located in St Albans, Christchurch. We deal in hand knotted vintage/antique rugs, Kilims and Cushion Covers. Your role will be to receive orders, pack rugs and dispatch orders, hang rugs on walls, stack rugs on floor and show rugs to customers.

For this role, you must be physically fit as lifting heavy rugs is required. Excel sheet knowledge is desired but not necessary. You must be a reliable, punctual, and hard working person. You must be available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Prior experience in retail is desired but not necessary.

Full training will be provided. Upon satisfactory work progress, this role may lead to full time role/store manager position. Please submit your CV, cover letter and two references.
