We are on the lookout for x2 enthusiastic students to join the team at the South Canterbury Museum this summer
If you are currently studying or recently graduated in history, anthropology, general social sciences or information management and looking for valuable work experience for your CV, let us know.
This internship will see you working alongside our Curators and assisting with collection management tasks such as rehousing Taonga Māori collections, rehousing archive and historic book collections, auditing Natural History collections, and carrying out specimen photography.
This is an awesome opportunity for any student considering a future career in general heritage, archives, or museums. If history is your niche and you have a ‘get it done’ attitude we would love to hear from you.
All applicants are required to be either a New Zealand Citizen or have a current New Zealand work visa.
