**Waipapa Pine Ltd is a progressive timber processing business locally owned and operated in Whangarei. Due to continued growth of our site we are now looking for a Treatment Plant Operator to join our team.**

This is a full time, permanent position.
- Be Health and Safety conscious
- Have experience in the Timber Industry
- Be able to accurately follow Operating Procedures
- Have forklift certificate - OSH and/or F endorsement
- Be able to accurately read and follow instructions
- Have a reasonable level of computer literacy
- Have a reasonable level of numeracy and literacy
- Must be reliable, honest, and display good work ethic
- Must have initiative
- Be willing to learn
- Must be highly motivated and flexible

Experience in timber treatment is an advantage but not essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Source and preload packets allocated to treatment as per production plans
- Load and unload treatment vessels
- Monitor and manage the treatment plant to ensure optimum output
- Monitor safe & accurate operation of treatment plant
- Record treatment data
- Follow the correct treatment schedule for the product being treated
- Work cooperatively with other departments
- Record and communicate any maintenance requirements to the Supervisor
