**Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role**
Manage internal audits and risk assessments across Fire and emergency New Zealand. You will proactively look at key risks and make recommendations on how to make key improvements to various parts of the organisation. This varied role will include internal audits, project management, and continuous improvement.
This position sits in a small team and has clear pathways for career development into risk and assurance.
**Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you’ll bring to the role**:
Bring your experience in providing high quality internal audits. You will have a background in assurance or risk management, as well as a practical mindset. Understanding the machinery of government or working within the emergency sector would be a huge advantage.
**To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will**:
- Prior experience providing successful internal audits
- Strong skills in the Microsoft Suite
- Strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills both written and oral
- Experience being part of Project Management
**The salary range for this role is $112,415 - $124,906 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.**
