**Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)**
This role involves assisting the Radiology staff with the smooth running and day-to-day duties within the radiology department including: transferring patients, care and supervision of patients, linen restocking, general administrative tasks and equipment cleaning duties. The main aspect of this role is ensuring Inpatients are transferred to and from radiology in a timely manner to ensure a smooth work flow and no downtime in Radiology. This is a busy and active role and requires the pushing of beds, trollies and wheelchairs.
This is a fixed term, full-time position working 80 hours a fortnight (1.0 FTE). Our shifts are rostered across Monday to Sunday between the hours of 0800-2300 hours.

You will ideally have a working knowledge of the radiology department and/or the hospital environment, along with great interpersonal skills, loads of initiative and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. You will need to be fit and healthy in order to perform the role and you must be patient focused.
