**(About this position)**
We are looking for an efficient medical administrator with outstanding communication and organisational skills to join our Radiology team. You will provide administrative support to our clinicians including (but not limited to): reception, ensuring patient documentation is maintained and up to date, booking radiology appointments and follow-ups, and Dictaphone typing of clinical correspondence. You will also be expected to assist the other administrative staff by covering periods of leave and sickness. In return you'll enjoy support from the team and a collegial working environment.
This is a permanent full-time position working 80 hours a fortnight (1.0FTE). Shifts will be rostered and rotating between the hours of 07:30AM and 9PM, Monday to Friday with weekends and public holidays to cover leave. The commencing salary for this position is $45,720.

You will have a bright, outgoing personality and will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service. You will be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite. Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential. You'll be highly empathetic, respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality and will have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload.
