**The Role**

We are developing a bunch of exciting new systems based on our product initiatives - think electrical, electronics, mechanical, software, and interface systems. We need to test all these to ensure we are both learning fast and developing a quality product.

We are seeking 2x Systems Test Engineers at present, and will be after more in the coming months.

Some of the things that you might be involved in include:

- Research Testing: Conduct various exploratory testing activities that help us push the envelope. This will include conducting tests involving oscilloscopes and other equipment in our electrical lab.
- Development Testing: Be part of our systems-led development process, working cross-functionally
- Pre-compliance Testing: Test against defined methods to ensure an optimal path through compliance.
- Automation: We're passionate about this Help us develop, iterate and execute our CI and HIL test systems.
- Ideation: Use your initiative to ask questions, test in different ways, find holes in our system, develop new methods. Challenge our current thinking.
- Infrastructure: Improve our testing capabilities - documentation, custom equipment, lab fit out, or ordering new gear
- Planning: look ahead to ensure we're always on top of current and future needs when it comes to tasks, resources, vendors, and equipment.

**About You**
We think you’ll be a great fit for this role if:

- You're tertiary qualified in Engineering (or similar)
- You have 2+ years experience in a development or test role within Engineering (preferred)
- You can develop test scripts in Python and automate testing systems
- You're familiar with engineering change management and documentation systems
- 'Diligent' is a key word people use to describe you
- You have some familiarity with electrical test equipment like oscilloscopes
- You're familiar with software source control systems such as git
- You have experience or passion for working in a start-up environment
- You can work safely in an electrical environment

As well as the above, it would be great if you had at 1 or more of the following (depending on your specialization):

- An ability to fabricate custom testing equipment and setup test systems, including CI systems, bespoke interfaces, cycle testers and other fixtures
- Some experience in electrical product qualification testing
- Some experience in testing software infrastructure, interfaces, API’s, interactions and experiences.
