**Senior Advisor, Design and Implementation**

**2x full-time permanent positions available**

We're seeking senior advisors to join the Design and Implementation team in Commissioning and Service Improvement. We deliver positive change in the justice system for a safe and fair Aotearoa.

**Te haeata/The opportunity**

As a Senior Advisor, you will lead and contribute to projects and be able to develop the capability of others. You will analyse new legislation and complex business problems, assess options and design improvements across courts, tribunals and the wider justice sector. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to act independently
- they will figure out what needs to be done and then drive solutions to completion.

The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and provides an opportunity to demonstrate and develop your project management, process design, workshop facilitation, risk management, procurement and change management skills.

**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and experience**

Ideally, the skills and experience we are looking for include:

- a solid understanding of the machinery of government along with experience in interpreting legislation and translating it into an operational context.
- proven experience in delivering operational changes that work for the people who use them
- effective project and change management experience, including the ability to define a business problem and plan and deliver an effective solution
- a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- comfort in working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
- a strong desire to improve the way the NZ public engages with public services
- a good understanding of the justice sector and of the culturally diverse nature of the people who experience the justice system - direct experience working in the court or tribunal environment is an advantage, but not essential.

**Utu ā-tau/Salary**

The appointing salary for this role will be between $99,208 and $127,683 based on skills and experience.
