Our Hamilton based water infrastructure team is involved in delivering some of the most exciting, regional, national, and international transformational infrastructure projects across wastewater, water supply, and stormwater.

The scope of technical work for this role is across all 3 waters with an emphasis on wastewater and water supply, while also supporting the stormwater designers.

This is a unique opportunity to grow a professional portfolio of challenging water infrastructure projects for a range of public sector key clients. You will be a part of our industry-leading water business to lead and contribute to the delivery of a wide range of sustainable and resilient projects that provide great outcomes for our clients, our local community and AECOM.

Minimum Requirements

+ Minimum of 5+ years’ experience.

+ Strong skills and experience in hydraulics and civil water related engineering

+ Fundamental understanding of design software and a good understanding of other packages (12D / Civil 3D)

+ Experience in the design of reticulation networks, pump stations, storage, and balance of plant inputs to treatment plants

+ Familiar with Water Services Bill and Council guidelines

+ Knowledge of the market for consulting services

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

+ A Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or similar), or equivalent

+ CPEng status - desirable (or working towards)
