full range of services that aim to optimise productivity and maximise returns for our growers.
We have 2 Orchard manager positions based in bay of Plenty area.
We are seeking an Orchard Manager with leadership skills to inspire confidence and
motivate their team to deliver business objectives.
As the Orchard Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations and the optimisation of
fruit production. In this role, you will achieve quality and budget performance, whilst
maintaining high standards of plant health and overall product performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Implement the operational development activities
Effective management of budget and work programs
Undertake projects as requested from time to time, ensuring this is done in a manner
that shows initiative and will ensure self-development
Maintain a customer focussed approach, representing customers best interest at all
times
Management of staff at various levels
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety, HR policies statutory obligations
You will also need
Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A good level of physical fitness and enjoy working outdoors.
Good initiative to work unsupervised at times.
The ability to work flexible and sometimes long hours including weekends.
A strong business-oriented focus
The ability to adapt, be flexible and learn quickly
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Enthusiastic about customer service excellence and the contribution you can
make to the business
Knowledge and at least 6 months practical experience in horticulture industry
is also vital for this role.
Valid NZ drivers license or accepted international drivers license.

We will provide at least 35 hours of work per week. The hourly rate offered for this Role is a
minimum of $32 per hour, with ability to increase to $34 based on Knowledge/skills and
experience.
