Our Fresh Food section of the Store, predominantly the **Service Deli, Seafood and Bakery department(s)** is after **outstanding** individuals to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis.

**The days and hours for these positions are as follows**:

- _ Monday 8.30am-4.30pm, Friday 4.30pm-8.30pm and Sunday 4.30pm-8.30pm _**_(15.5 hours per week)_**:

- _ Monday 11.30am-8.00pm and Saturday 4.30pm-8.30pm _**_(12 hours per week)_**:

- _ Monday 6.00am-3.30pm, Friday 5.00am-2.30pm and Saturday 5.00am-2.30pm _**_(27 hours per week)_**:

- _ Monday 5am-1.30pm and Sunday 5.00am-1.30pm _**_(16 hours per week)_**:

- _ Monday 6.00am-2.30pm and Sunday 6.00am-2.30pm _**_(16 hours per week)_**:

- _ Monday 4.30pm-8.30pm and Sunday 8.30am-4.30pm _**_(11.5 hours per week)_**:

- _ Wednesday 4.30pm-8.30pm and Sunday 6.00am-3.30pm _**_(13 hours per week)_**

The role of a Fresh Food Assistant in our store at PAK'nSAVE Hastings basically means you are trained in the core tasks across the 3 departments. The **Deli, Seafood & Bakery Department** is where you'd complete the tasks related to this position, including making pizzas, cooking chickens and presenting them to customers, and finishing off (icing and decorating) cake products, mixing and baking cake products and other products (eg muffins, scones ect), packaging and pricing baked bread rolls, cakes, loaves, biscuits ect. The role of a Fresh Food Assistant covers merchandising/filling the front cabinet, as well as interacting with customers and abiding by Health & Safety regulations.

**To succeed in these positions you will need to**:

- Be able to work well unsupervised once fully trained
- Be able to follow procedures and instruction
- _ Have absolute reliability_
- Be a team player with the ability to communicate effectively
- Be safety conscious

Previous experience in the food industry would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.
