We are looking for An Experienced Travel agent for our company to secure this position as right team member where the customer satisfaction is paramount in the services sector but unlike most other companies, the efficiency test of travel agencies goes beyond issue of tickets.

World Travel is operating Travel Business from last 10 years. We are based in Manurewa ( Auckland) constantly strives to ensure that the customers receive quality service, with prompt attention to details, Our Business is 90 percent Thriving among the Ethnic Communities to assist them for Travel/accommodation and other related facilities, such as Tourist/Transit Visa and other passport services with Consulate General of high Commission

**Travel Consultant Job Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Meets with clients to determine travel needs, budgets and preferences.
- Sells and coordinates transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours and activities.
- Advises clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather and activities.
- Collects payments and books travel arrangements
- Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancelations and refunds.
- Builds and maintains relationships with travel and tour vendors.
- Attends travel seminars and conferences.
- Conducts research on destinations and industry trends.
- Maintains accurate records of bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls and meetings.
- Contributes to agency efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Strong sales and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Excellent knowledge of Amadeus system.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Working knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
- Ability to speak languages such as Punjabi, Hindi in addition to English preferred.
- With Must do attitude to work after hours when required.
**Education and Experience**:

- Diploma in tourism, travel, hospitality, business or related field is a plus
- Training Certificate in Amadeus system is a plus
- Experience working as a travel agent minimum 2 years is must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
