**About the Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused **Junior Financial Adviser** to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping New Zealanders take control of their financial futures, with a particular focus on **KiwiSaver** and **personal insurance advice** (life, income protection, health, etc.).

You’ll receive full support, mentoring, and development to grow your skills, provide compliant advice, and progress toward becoming a fully authorised Financial Adviser.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct client consultations to understand their financial goals and risk profiles.
- Provide advice on KiwiSaver fund selection, contribution strategies, and retirement planning.
- Offer personalised insurance advice (life, trauma, income protection, health) to individuals and families.
- Prepare Statements of Advice (SOAs) in line with regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KiwiSaver providers, insurance products, and FMA regulations.
- Use CRM tools to manage client relationships and follow-up processes.
- Support the Senior Adviser in research, strategy development, and client servicing.
- Attend training sessions and work toward full Level 5 Financial Services qualification (if not yet completed).

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional and ethical approach with a commitment to doing the right thing for the client.
- A basic understanding of KiwiSaver and/or insurance concepts.
- Willingness to work toward or already hold the **New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5)**.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or a client-facing role.
- Previous exposure to regulated advice or financial product sales.
