Grocery Supervisor

Are you experienced in managing people either in a supervisory or leadership role? Do you have previous Grocery/Retail experience?

**New World Mt Roskill**is currently seeking an engaging, customer focused individual to work as a Grocery Supervisor.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

In the absence of Department Managers, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistently fresh and appealing shopping experience for customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Replenishing Grocery department and monitoring staff within Grocery
- Monitoring department staff to ensure service and productivity levels are maintained.
- Circulating around the shop floor regularly to maintain the store’s overall appearance.
- Completing end of day procedures and report back to department managers with any issues
- Following store processes with regard to product recalls and customer complaints.

This is a full-time role.** The roster is** **T**ues**day - Saturday**

- Have experience, and be confident in providing clear and consistent direction to staff
- Be approachable for both customers and staff
- Provide consistently high levels of customer service.
- Have great attention to detail and a good command of written/spoken English
- Be physically able to carry out manual handling of product at different levels
- Have a Managers Certificate and a forklift license and previous forklift experience and or suitable to quality for one
