Checkout Supervisor

**NEW WORLD Mount Albert** is opening soon, and we are ready to provide a truly unique experience for everyone within the Mount Albert community.

We are seeking an experienced **Checkout Supervisor **who can help create an outstanding customer experience for our Mount Albert community.

**The Role**:

- Provide outstanding customer service
- Keep on top of customer flow and ensuring appropriate numbers of checkouts are open at all times
- Handle customer transactions and ensure the till balances on a daily basis
- Train new checkout operators as required
- Handle customer enquiries appropriately, ensuring effective interactions with customers at all times
- Ensure high presentation standards for the checkout department & store
- Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best results

**What are we looking for**:

- Previous Checkout Supervisor experience in a grocery/supermarket environment is required
- Current LCQ and Managers certificate
- Flexible to work a set roster between Monday-Sunday (including mix of day/night shifts) - 40hpw
- Confidence and maturity to manage a team and provide a seamless experience for customers
- Reliable, honest and be a good team player
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
