Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom are looking for a Trade Sales team member for our Whanganui branch. This is a role for a people person who is customer focussed. You will be assisting our valued plumbers and builders identify, source, and locate our extensive range of Plumbing and Bathroom product. You will also get involved in all warehousing activities from assisting our Inwards Goods department accurately identify goods delivered from our suppliers, to assisting our Despatch department pick and pack goods

You may have previous plumbing and bathroom knowledge or professional experience or you may have trade retail experience in a similar industry. You may be a plumber who enjoys the customer facing aspect of your current role.

In this key customer management role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a friendly, open, and approachable manner.

To work with the team at Chesters and our customers, you will need to have a great sense of humour, be solution focussed, and have an attitude to deliver results. You will gain exposure to all aspects of the running of a busy plumbing merchant so you will need to have a 'can do' attitude and a willingness to learn.
