As the statutory auditor of all public organisations, from councils to schools, the Auditor-General's work plays a major part in ensuring that our public sector remains one of the most trusted in the world.

- help develop our data platform analytics practice; and
- develop and implement a range of analytical products.

**To succeed in this role, you'll have**:

- Strong experience in analytical product development, ideally in data and analytics or technology-focused programmes.
- Proficiency in Snowflake, Python, and Streamlit.
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and documentation best practices.
- A drive to ensure that New Zealand's public entities are spending taxpayers' money effectively and efficiently.

**Ideally, you'll also have a good knowledge of**:

- financial data and non-financial performance data;
- the machinery of government and its accountability mechanisms and audit; and
- experience in New Zealand's public sector.

**We offer our staff**:

- Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.
- Supportive hybrid working arrangements (flexible hours/days).
- Health and well-being benefits.
