Head Barista

We’re seeking a hands-on and forward-thinking Head Barista with excellent coffee-making skills who thrives in a busy café environment. You’ll be responsible for the daily operations of SPiN Cafe, leading a tight-knit team, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining the strong culture that our regulars love. **What you'll be doing**
- Uphold SPiN’ reputation for excellent coffee and service
- Oversee daily operations with a focus on efficiency and quality
- Manage costs, rostering and stock inventory within expected guidelines
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for both staff and customers
- Foster a customer-first culture, consistently delivering outstanding service
- Maintain a coffee and food offer that reflects the high quality standards of SPiN Cafe
- Work closely with SPiN' wider team on café initiatives and strategy
- Stay updated on industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and hygiene regulations and maintain excellent standards of cleanliness of site and equipments
- Liaise with suppliers for ordering food and contribute to menu development and pricing

**What we're looking for**
- 2+ years experience as a barista in a high volume environment
- Passionate about coffee, people, and hospitality
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational ability
- Comfortable with POS and inventory systems
- Committed to creating a positive, values-driven workplace

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 42 per week
