Opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team of cyber security experts. This is a role which will give you the opportunity to utilise your strengths and to work with a variety of technology across the whole of the Reserve Bank. Te tūranga - The roleA part of our wider information security team this role sits in our Security Assurance team. This role has the opportunity to work across the entirety of Te Pūtea Matua and to be involved in a variety of projects.The Security Assurance Analyst plays a key role in providing information security analysis to stakeholders across RBNZ as well as security assessments for business operations. You will be providing risk and information security expertise to stakeholders to aid the delivery of projects and programmes.A key part of the role will be undertaking assurance activities to ensure the adoption of and adherence to information security architectures, strategies, policies, standards and guidelines.This is a role where you will be comfortable thinking outside of the box and providing tailored advice to a variety of stakeholders.To view the position description please click here.Ō pūkenga - About youTo be successful in one of these roles you'll have:

- Been in a technical IT role and/or in an information security or risk management role.
- a pragmatic and practical approach to managing risk
- proven stakeholder and relationship management skills
- experience working with a variety of stakeholders and providing advisory support
- a proven understanding of risk and risk management
- a collaborative approach and a desire to learn
- experience with security domains, cloud, infrastructure, and/or networking
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
