Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are currently seeking several Psychiatrists and Clinical Leads across our Mental Health Service with Te Whatu Ora | Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
We provide speciality inpatient and community services across the full range of ages, from infants to elderly members of our community. If you would like to know more about our teams, please visit our website.
Our services are provided via passionate and highly skilled multi-disciplinary teams which include psychiatrists, mental health nurses, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and many other psychiatric experts.
We're extremely fortunate to have an extremely engaged and collaborative team, who through their diverse skills and expertise create an inclusive open environment for our clients and their whanau. We're at the centre of an exciting period of innovation and development as are move increasingly into partnership with other providers such as General practice, and building our relationship further with NGOs.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
To be successful in this role you will be vocationally registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand with a current Practising Certificate or be eligible for registration. For more information about the registration process, please refer here.
You will also have experience and interest in providing a high-quality service to individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental ill-health and a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori is essential in these roles.

We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.

- Step 1 $170,369.00 to Step 15 $250,560.00 for Medical Specialists
