Through our secure and advanced telehealth platform, you will conduct virtual sessions to assess patients, diagnose conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and offer ongoing support to improve their mental well-being. You will collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals and have access to robust technological resources, empowering you to deliver exceptional care and support.
- Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and assessments using video conferencing software, catering to patients all across New Zealand.
- Provide accurate diagnoses and formulate evidence-based treatment plans for patients with various mental health concerns.
- Offer compassionate and non-judgmental support to patients, promoting a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.
- Monitor and track patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals within the organisation to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain thorough and confidential electronic records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in psychiatry and telehealth technology to enhance service quality continually.
**Qualifications**:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Psychiatry.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in New Zealand, with eligibility to provide telehealth services in the country.
- Experience in diagnosing and treating a broad range of mental health conditions across different age groups.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients remotely.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and a high level of comfort with technology.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives.
