Waterworks, a leading importer and distributor of piping systems across New Zealand is expanding its team and seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join its brand-new branch in Mount Wellington, Auckland.

**Role Overview**:
As a Warehouse Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations team, responsible for a range of warehouse duties including order picking, dispatch, inventory management, container unloading, and ensuring timely delivery to our customers. This role requires physical capability for regular heavy lifting and a dedication to maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fulfill daily orders and dispatch using our Warehouse Management System.
- Using Forklift daily.
- Receive and organise incoming goods.
- Assist with container unloading and inventory management.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and transfers.
- Coordinate with their main distribution centre in New Plymouth.
- Deliver urgent orders to customers in the Auckland region.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support walk-in customers.

**Desired Attributes**:We're seeking individuals with**:

- Min of 2 years of proven Warehousing experience, including 2 years forklift experience
- Must have a NZ full driver license and forklift endorsement.
- Not afraid to work a few extra hours here and there to ensure we put the customer first.
- Flexibility to get the job done, be energetic and have a team-first attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to embrace technology and learn new systems.

**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm.
