This role supports the Laboratory Manager in providing trade waste sampling and basic analytical services. This is a varied role with a great mix of field and office work. You will be:

- Self-managing sampling sites, arranging workload and planning sampling runs
- Auto sampler cleaning and maintenance
- Undertaking some basic laboratory analysis
- Inputting data/sample registration in our laboratory information management software
- Following quality control procedures and performing quality control activities
- Acting as the face of the Three Waters Laboratory and the Council when out in the field

**About you | Ko Koe Tēnei**

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role that requires problem solving and can change between priorities easily. This is a physical role that will require some heavy lifting, so you'll need to have a reasonable level of physical fitness. Because you'll be travelling around to sampling sites a full, clean, drivers licence is essential. You will have decent computer skills due to the information manage functions as well as bringing with you a positive, team player attitude.
