**About the role**:
**About you**:
The Kaiako will have an understanding of higher learning within the world-wide indigenous millennium, have networks and engage with applied practitioners of indigenous knowledge expertise and is able to translate and teach indigenous rangahau methods, methodologies and techniques.

Ideally, applicants will have:

- New Zealand Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching Level 5 (NZCATT L5) or equivalent, or be willing to complete during the first year of employment
- Full and current NZ Driver Licence

**Experience**:

- 10 years+ applied indigenous knowledge and rangahau
- Background working with post-graduate or Masters level tauira
- Evidence of an established rangahau base
- Adult teaching experience

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
