**He angitūtanga | About the Role**:
Based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara | Wellington, this role is responsible for ensuring farms are being well managed. This roles responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with the Horticulture Specialist/Advisor and Forestry Advisor to help ensure a cohesive and effective approach is being applied across Te Tumu Paeroa agriculture and forestry businesses.
- Providing expert advice and guidance concerning businesses within your portfolio, supporting the Whenua Services Manager and colleagues through complex emerging and realised issues.
- Working with Farm Managers, build effective annual business plans and monitor these throughout the year.

**He korero mou | What we are looking for**:

- Minimum 5 years agribusiness/farming experience.
- Proven agribusiness experience covering operating farm systems and farm management.
- Relevant agribusiness or agriscience degree.
- Good working knowledge of dairy and drystock farm operations.
- Excellent understanding of farm financial accounts.
- Excellent skills in building and fostering strong internal and external relationships, with specific reference to on-farm teams and including farm supervisors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An excellent understanding of farm budget setting and monitoring.
- Experience using farm monitoring systems like FarmIQ, Farm Focus, Farmax etc is a plus
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV, SharePoint and/or M365 is a plus.
- A desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo Māori is essential
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
