Auckland City, New Zealand New Zealand Government Full time

Auckland-based, central Britomart location
- Hybrid work arrangement, 3 days in the office / 2 days flexible
- People-first organisation, with your development and wellbeing a priority

Combine your talents in hands on delivery with building capability
We're here to ensure that New Zealand consumers are being treated fairly by the financial services sector. Our motivation to influence positive change and enhance outcomes for all New Zealanders is the driving force for our people, whether they are on the frontline dealing with our financial institutions, or facilitating outcome focused regulation through their policy, intervention design, evaluation, legal, economic research or data and analytical skillsets - and it doesn't stop there.
Our transformation journey is at the early stages and will be continuous in response to the highly dynamic financial markets that we regulate. Our constructive relationships and collaboration with industry and other regulatory agencies, combined with our ability to remain agile and focused on the right things will heighten our impact.
With a strong foundation in place, we've created our centre of change delivery expertise, which includes our change delivery, change management, design, business improvement and knowledge management teams. A Technology Delivery team works closely with Transformation on delivering our technology-based change.
Now - let's talk about where you come in
This is a permanent leadership opportunity, designed to focus on the various delivery support systems and capability build that will enable our transformation to occur. It will draw on your hands on expertise in delivery, knowing what it takes at all stages for people to be well equipped to:

- work collaboratively, efficiently and effectively to draw on our collective expertise and encourage innovation
- learn and embed new approaches, tools and guidance to their work to achieve desired outcomes

You'll bring your proven delivery background where you've been 'in the trenches' leading change, projects and programmes from start to finish. With a full toolkit based on project and/or programme management methodology certification and your flexible approach to utilising Agile methodology, you'll enjoy working out what approach is appropriate.
Your top-notch communication skills will shine through when presenting a range of complex information to a range of internal audiences, including training materials and guidance documentation.
With us, you'll have the support from other transformation and change colleagues, working as a cohesive team to bring our target operating model to life. This is an opportunity for you to continue your growth as you broaden your transformation experience, while immersing yourself in a business that is big enough to make a substantial difference, yet small enough to get alongside our people right across the organisation to build capability and delivery some amazing and impactful outcomes.
