This will suit a hands on person who has a problem solving brain and good attention to detail. You will like working with equipment/machinery and have a good mathematical ability. You will be responsible for programming and set up of machine. Monitoring the work flow of machine and identifying and reporting any issues. We would like operator to have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience on a CNC Laser/Plasma for this role in a manufacturing capacity preferably experience with Stainless Steel or heavy mild steel.
We will offer a great stable and safe work environment, opportunities to upskill and learn how to operate other machinery such as CNC and press brake machines and strong career opportunities.
**Requirements**:
**You will need to be**
- Reliable
- Able to work overtime when required (overtime available)
- Night shift role - Mon to Thu - 2pm -12pm (Note Training will be a couple of weeks day shift 6am - 2pm Mon-Fri)
- Day shift is 6am - 2.30 pm Monday - Friday
- Have a full class 1 licence and transport to and from work
- A competitive hourly rate is on offer depending on level of experience
- We pay time and half for any overtime hours above 40hrs.
- Experienced with Gantry Crane operation would be an advantage
- Forklift experience preferable
- Intermediate level ability with documentation completion
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines
- Basic to medium computer skills
Role is available for an immediate start and as part of the recruitment process we will conduct a pre employment drug screen.
