Drainlaying Labourer

A great opportunity for someone keen to learn the skills of drainlaying

You will work with a Qualified Drainlayer and learn how to operate diggers, install drainage systems, connect drains, retention/detention tanks, prepare and dig trenches, read and understand plans and more.

You will be part of our drainage team and work in Auckland on a variety of sites including new housing and some light commercial projects

If successful, this role could lead to a drainlaying apprenticeship to become qualified and have a trades career.

Laser Plumbing East Tamaki has a major presence in Auckland providing plumbing, drainlaying and gasfitting services and is a successful, established company.

We have a lot of work on our books and have just expanded our drainage fleet to cope with demand for our work.
**What we are looking for**:

- Strong, fit and healthy.
- Practical and hands on - able to do physical work and like working outdoors in all weathers.
- Have a clean, full driving licence.
- Positive, professional attitude.
- Proven good work ethic.
- Work well in a team.
- Good communication skills.
